Hey y’all,

Starting a D&D campaign with some friends soon, and I get to be a player! This is my character: Zeb! They’re an alien made up of other aliens! Born in a lab after a mad doctor spliced together the DNA of a plethora of various species to create new life, Zeb grew up in a sort of bio-dome filled with all the food and water they would ever need, they thought they knew freedom until one day when the space-fuzz showed up to the doctor’s lab, arrested the doctor, and seized all his property. Zeb unfortunately finds themselves as property and the illusion of freedom within the bio-dome is shattered.

Not knowing what to do with this experimental creature, the authorities leave Zeb on Motherboard, a penal colony planet, essentially one large planet dedicated to keeping criminals. Zeb spends a large portion of their life there, waiting not-so-patiently for their space-court date to come and get off of this rock. But of course, they haven’t just been sitting idly, Zeb is thought to be a leader of a faction of literal freedom-fighters, punks who idolize the concept of freedom. But while Zeb may be a part of this group, they’re certainly no leader, but they are a force to be reckoned with.
