Digital Painting Practice

I asked my friend to pick my palette and brush in Procreate and I started painting what was in front of me, but I also chose not to change the brush size at all, as a sort of challenge I guess to go along with the restricted palette. Anyhow, here’s the result!

A very shape-y painting using reds, purples, greens, and black to portray a scene of someone sitting down at a table next to a cat
My view through limited colors

I really like how this came out! It’s very simple, but I still think it’s fun. I unfortunately don’t have anything else to really show off at the moment, April was pretty slow art-wise, except that I did go to open mic twice and performed 3 of my poems yet again, and it’s getting easier to perform each time. I would like to set aside some time to actually practice and memorize them since I’m performing them along with music, they’re kind of like songs anyway.

With that, I’ll say hopefully I have some more to show off soon, I’d like to be doing more visual artwork right now, but that may shift and I may end up working on music again or something entirely new! Thank you for reading!
